GNC Senior Manager, Ecommerce in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Manage a team responsible for achieving sales plans and usability performance targets for a vertical group of product categories within eCommerce. The objectives will be met by setting up compelling customer driven merchandise assortments and product management in close collaboration with Marketing Managers, Buyers, & Vendor partners. Also responsible for managing the ideation and execution of the e-Commerce promotional calendar to ensure that targeted revenue and margin goals are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the ideation, execution, optimization and maintenance of the e-Commerce promotional calendar.

  • Plan, manage and calendarize all creative assets across

  • Execute all promotions within the GSI remote tool, including daily exclusion management.

  • Leverage product knowledge to optimize the coverage of new and/or key products.

  • Manage new product launches for

  • Manage and execute all taxonomic changes to

  • Partner with marketing planning teams to execute cross functional marketing campaigns and vendor sale packackages on

  • Analyze pricing and promotional offers for marketplace businesses

  • Ensure new and existing brands are highlighted with best-in-class presentation, messaging, and creative merchandising.

  • Create and execute marketing campaigns and on-site merchandising, providing direction to and quality control over inputs.

  • Coordinate with creative and web marketing teams to ensure launches occur on schedule and have sufficient support and exposure via website, email, and search engine marketing.

  • Participates in Go To Market meetings to understand seasonal business plans, product features/technologies, and key initiatives

  • Input into seasonal planning with Marketing to identify merchandising opportunities to increase sell through

  • Partners with Brand and eCommerce Marketing teams to develop special shop concepts, page layouts, and navigation to support category directives and strategies

  • Collaborate with Analytics team weekly to evaluate how collections and products are performing and create quarterly Site Merchandising recaps and recommendations to support future seasons based upon findings

  • Collaborate with UX team to improve consumer shopping experience through improved product information and layout

  • Maximizes online sales performance (i.e., conversion rate, average order value, units per transaction), with particular focus on making continuous improvements in customer experience ratings, cross-sell strategies, sell-thru, and promotion execution

    • Conducts comprehensive analysis of marketplace to understand competitive landscape and white space. Advocate for innovation and improvements to content strategy and presentation.
  • Validate key web merchandise metadata prior to publication on live site

  • Validate, build and monitor all website, editorial and catalog assortments including special collections and gift guides

One Site Marketing and Merchandise Specialist, E-Commerce

Two Web Catagory Specialists, E-Commerce

At Least 7 years of relevant e-Commerce experience.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field

  • Strong communications skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Strong analytical skills necessary to understand and interpret data.
