GNC Procurement Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

The Procurement Analyst will support the procurement team on a variety of activities including, spend analysis, cost savings tracking, contract management processes, and RFx execution across all areas of Indirect spend. This role will work to define and implement optimal procurement strategies to ensure maximized value within assigned categories. The procurement analyst will work with the procurement team to achieve sustainable cost savings goals and execute on process improvement opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee (or lead) the Request For RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ) process in accordance with GNCs procurement process. This necessitates strong collaboration with business partners and excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors

  • Manage the process and execution of activities in GNC's eSourcing and contract management tool ensuring optimum data integrity and compliance

  • Work collaboratively to support the contract review process; support the procurement and FP&A teams in contract compliance reviews and analysis

  • Support Vendor Relationship Management program including vendor scorecarding activities and KPI management including components such as terms and conditions, pricing, and lead-time.

  • Complete category spend analysis, bid analysis and other financial reviews as needed

  • Support annual and monthly budgeting activities

  • Maintain the highest level of integrity in all business and procurement interactions and functions

Job Specifications

  • 2-5 years procurement experience

  • Indirect (goods not for resale) experience preferred, but not required; retail experience preferred but not required

  • Project planning and management experience

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
