GNC Marketing Workflow Project Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

The Marketing workflow Project Manager provides support to the Marketing Department, with a focus on supporting the creative team. The person in this role will create, maintain and document project plans by collaborating with creative, merchants, science, legal, and operations. Furthermore, they will identify, create and update processes to enable efficiencies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project manage the full end-to-end process from a scoping and plan creation to delivery and evaluation.

  • Lead and meet goals of projects and initiatives with varying degrees of size and scope.

  • Develop and own project methodology and control standards and procedures, and deploy with other teams as appropriate.

  • Maintain documentation and project plans.

  • Establish and maintain cross-functional relationship and communication at all levels of the organization. Assist in the optimization of resource allocation.

  • Ability to identify risks and develop actionable plan to mitigate the risk.

  • Collaborate with the Business and end-users to properly manage change and ensure communication paths are clearly defined and executed.

  • Proactively review processes and recommend process improvements.

  • Partner with channel owners' to gather, define and refine requirements/solutions. Review creative briefs and provide feedback on scope. Look for connections to other projects and recommend simplification and integration points.

  • Prioritize marketing requests in line with business priorities and strategic objectives.

  • Create and execute marketing project management and development plans across multiple initiatives and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

  • Identify, update and/or create processes to enable workflow efficiencies.

  • Participate in weekly project/creative/legal reviews to create and determine feasibility of timetables and monitoring progress

    • Own and operate the project management system, providing leadership within the department to adapt and rely on the system.

Conduct post project analysis identifying best practices and opportunities for improvement.

Job Specifications

5-10 years related experience

4 year degree

2 years of relevant work experience in Marketing Operations & Workflow 2 years of experience in a creative department or agency project management role Experience reviewing briefs and scopes of work Prior experience in Project & Process Management Exposure to a variety of creative projects across media (print, video, digital) Prior usage of Workfront or equivalent Project Management/Trafficking Tool Familiarity with both internet and traditional marketing preferred. Familiarity with Flash, HTML, JavaScript a plus Strong MS Office skills
