GNC Manager - E Commerce Marketplace Marketing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Summary


The Mgr - E-Commerce Marketplace Marketing is responsible for developing and executing performance marketing plans across all 3rd Party Marketplaces. This role serves as the primary point of contact for media and agency for both internal and external partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Plan, Manage and optimize media budget to maximize ROI and branding objectives.

  • Track performance of all marketing programs and work with agency partners to optimize throughout the year.

  • Utilize expertise on Amazon marketing including sponsored products, Headline Search Ads and other AMG offerings.

  • Manager external traffic driving marketing channel including SEM, Paid Social as well as offline media.

  • Partner with cross-functional team to develop and execute marketing plans, programs and campaigns across digital marketplaces.

  • Execute promotional campaigns (sponsorship ads, lightning deals, and other promotional offerings) to increase traffic.

  • Develop and implement marketing plans to support major brand and product launches in order to maximize sales and impression share.

  • Identify and develop partnerships outside of the current GNC ecosystem to drive sales and traffic and enhance the GNC Brand in the market.

  • Manage the marketplace marketing calendar including relevant brand store updates across all market places. This includes creative brief development, execution and management as well and marketing container scheduling and coordination.

  • Regularly/Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate.

Job Specifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required

  • 5+ years progressive Business, Marketing experience required

  • 3rd party market places including Amazon, Jet, Ebay and Wal Mart experience required

  • Amazon Seller Central and Channel Advisor experience is a plus

  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred

  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications

  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)

  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts

  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients

  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management

  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
