GNC Drop Ship Order Management Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

SUMMARY

The Drop Ship Order Management Analyst plays a key role in GNC Digital Properties' operation by managing and ensuring delivery within SLA for all dropship vendors including reporting results and making recommendations to the Senior Manager, Order Management and leadership team. This position is also responsible for recommending and executing enhancements and staying up to date on industry standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

Direct to Consumer Packages:

  • Partner with Digital Merchandising team for dropship vendor set-up and continued relationship management

  • Partner with Digital Merchandising team and dropship vendors to establish, monitor, and remediate issues with vendor SLAs

  • Ensure operational excellence across dropship network and adherence to agreed guideline, processes and procedures

  • Manage vendor changes such as new shipping carrier implementations or changes to process, reporting, and technology

  • Management of purchase orders to ensure on time delivery, order accuracy, and fill rate

  • Ensure vendors complaints, including but not limited to, updating their inventory, electronic confirmation of completed orders, as well as accurate timing with the physical shipment date

  • Define metrics, capture data, and develop dashboard to effectively monitor this order delivery channel

  • Partner with Digital Merchandising team and dropship vendors to deliver quarterly or annual business and performance reviews

  • Identify opportunities, recommend strategy, and implement system changes or business process improvements to increase orders throughput, reduce cost and improve service level

  • Support projects including requirement documentation and testing

  • Regularly executive quality assurance checks on orders

  • Daily support of customer care related to dropship orders

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Passionate in providing world class quality order fulfillment while minimize expense

  • Strong understanding of order management, distribution, and transportation processes

  • Experience with supply chain metrics and their use to drive process improvements

  • Works independently to support off-hour/weekend operations. Holds decision making for monitoring and triaging any major system issues including escalation, resolution and communication to maintain/restore fulfillment operations

  • Technical skills profile and competencies required for complex technology environment

  • Strong analytical, research skills, proven ability to develop comprehensive solutions to complex problems

  • The ability to understand and explain complex issues, but also clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level

  • Strong Excel and SQL skills

  • Confident in datawarehouse and BI reporting tools

  • Knowledge of data gathering through various software applications

  • Strong business analytics, business process, and project management skills

  • Has sense of urgency, able to prioritize workload in fast pace environment

  • Keen attention to detail and technical acumen

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Outstanding leadership and human relations skills to build effective relationships with team, leadership and business partners

  • Position may require up to 15% travel
