GNC Service Technician in Anderson, South Carolina
Under the direction of supervision (i.e. supervisor and/or team leader), the packaging material handler is responsible for the transport, service, and preparation, of all bulk and components to the packaging lines. Shift length is 8 hours
2nd shift 3pm-11pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately read work orders, and using specified pick list, verify all components and bulk, and transport to appropriate packaging line.
Ensure lines and hoppers are stocked, and all components are available.
Assist with any rework. Make necessary adjustments on line.
Transport skids to cartoning area when applicable.
Make all necessary returns from the previous run and complete all required paperwork.
Maintain a clean work area by taking all trash to the dumpster area and dispose of all cardboard as needed.
At the end of the shift, ensure all product has been removed from the hopper and close hopper covers.
Mop the floors and leave line ready for upcoming shift.
Communicate with Line Leader
Communicate with other Service Techs/Operators/Line Leaders
Overtime as required
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and understanding of company SOP’s and cGMP’s

3 months experience in material handling, warehouse operations or similar, in a manufacturing environment
3 months experience in stated position within Nutra Manufacturing operations
6 months experience material handling, warehouse operations or similar in a GMP/FDA regulated manufacturing environment
Ability to operate machinery in a safe manner
Frequent Heavy lifting
Good communication skills
High school diploma or Equivalent
Mechanical ability combined with good dexterity
Ability to work well with others
MUST BE WILLING TO CROSS TRAIN AS FILLER OPERATOR.
